Historical Performance of the Alpha Strategy
This is the historical performance of the Alpha Strategy, the primary investment strategy at APC. The performance displayed is the average performance of all portfolios managed by APC using the Alpha Strategy which is roughly 83% of AUM as of 12/31/24. The average performance is calculated using each portfolio as an equal weight and taking the average monthly performance of all portfolios using the Alpha Strategy. Inception date for the Alpha Strategy is 1/1/22 (coincidentally happened to be the peak of equity markets post-Covid). Returns as of 2/28/25. Performance for VT using monthly market price return.
The Alpha Strategy is an aggressive investment strategy consisting primarily of individual equities with an options overlay for qualified investors ($1.1M minimum). The overall objective is to outperform the global equity market (ETF VT tracking the Spliced Total World Stock Index) over the long run. Past performance is not indicative of future results. Although historically this strategy has outperformed the benchmark, given the aggressive nature of this portfolio there will certainly be periods of underperformance. This is an aggressive portfolio strategy and risk of loss of principal is higher than most investment strategies. Clients should be prepared to bear this risk.
